i believe there is going to be a greater focus on player interaction and cross platform MMo's aswell as digital downloads taking over the old school hard disc.

Hmm tough question.

I think you will continue to see more games focused on Multiplayer and having short or weak single player games. We will continue to see WoW style massive online RPG games from companies trying to get even a small slice of Blizzard's pie.

I see the indie gaming market continuing to grow.

There has to be an anti-zombie backlash coming at some time since the industry has been flooded with zombie games.

I think many of the gaming companies are going after the easy sales now so we will see less and less titles available on the PC as a larger group of kids play the 360 and it's easy to make games for that need less demanding graphics.

Oh and more really crappy movies based on good video games.

Yes in this day and age we are now making cds obsolete to the digital download. but one thing. CD's will always rule no matter what they do i think that we will still have them there.

as time roles bye we will probally be the obsolet model if u think about it.. maybe in a few years they will make a new way of storing video games. so people can download them like we use cds today.

all we can hope for is that one day that all those kids who play the consels switch over to pc. the more pc gamers there are. the better chance for the pc gamers to get what games we want.

all i can say is if things dont go up soon i think there might be PC gamers anymore and if there are there wont be that many. So in other words,

"ALL YOU STUPID CONSEL GAMERS START PLAYING PC GAMES NOW >.<"

Sadly the developers and publishers don't agree with this statement.

Just about everybody who has a PC and has played games on it know that FPS, RTS, and RPGs are just better on PC.

I say everything goes motion controls, everything will be like Minority Report, but with WiiMotes.

MS and Sony are both getting motion control nad Sony announced that next year they will have the ability to make game have a 3D option.

I say the future will be all that, and then every fat bastard will bitch and we will go back to our good ol mouse and keyboards (yay)

Yep, PCs will once again be supreme and I will start shooting down those flying pigs for breakfast.

Honestly, I see consoles becoming more and more like PCs, not just swapable HDDs, but video cards, upgradable RAM, and the ablity to run 3 party programs like Ventrilo. And then they will just start making things like the PS5, as a USB attachment that allows you to play Sony Games on your Media Center along with the Dreamcast 2 and Sega CD 38.

Dude it can only get better but yes I think multi players and mmos will grow. Looks good to me :)
