Guild Wars?

I have friends who live in Sweden who are addicted to GW. Has anyone here every played? What's it like? Is it comparable to WOW? Any constructive opinions welcome.

Scorp and Spyglass use to play it when they would not even think about paying for WOW.

I kept on them tell they converted to WOW...and I don't see them ever returning to GW.

but yeah ask them about the game for they have played it for awhile

Yeah I have GW and used to play it but never got into it. I think what turned people on to it then was that its free to play but its no where near as vast as WOW. Its the same concept with characters and professions but not as big scale. They have several expansions already but I never played them. I ended up trying WOW and liked it better.

The player population has slimmed down majorly. Not even worth playing it unless you've played it along time and are at end game missions.

well I go back on Guild Wars and will play it only to kill time and since its free online. I saw it at Best Buy for $14.99 for the entire trilogy on sale from 40 right before Christmas so I bought it,what the hell. Cant beat the price.
