E3 2009 the MAJOR gaming convention is underway.

Best places to follow it all:
http://kotaku.com/tag/e3-2009/
http://e3.g4tv.com/e32009/index/

This is the thread to talk about anything mentioned, (or not mentioned) at E3 09

Today was Microsoft, EA, and UbiSoft keynotes.
Not too much that I would find spectacular personally, BUT Left 4 Dead 2 was announced and looks fun, it introduces melee weapons including a chainsaw, frying pan, and my favorite, a bat.

Tomorrow is Nintendo and Sony. Then demos, demos, demos galore.

I certainly hope that they put more life into Left 4 Dead 2.. More maps or something to change it up this time. The only thing I want from Microsoft right now is for them to hurry up and finish Windows 7.

There is actually a group boycotting the new L4D2.

It seems lot of people were unhappy about the announcement, which they see as a betrayal of Valve's "promise" to support Left 4 Dead with new content, and over 3000 of them have joined a new Steam Group called L4D2 Boycott (NO-L4D2), complaining about everything from Valve's lack of commitment to Left 4 Dead to the new game's overly colorful "visual aesthetic" and crappy fiddle music.

LOL I never bought L4D because I expected more than what was in the box. I got my moneys worth from the game and the next one looks interesting so far. as long as it pushes things forward I will get this game as well.

modernwarfare247.com has another interview video up. It has an extended first scene so it doesn't do the "in the interest of time bit".

YouTube - Wolfenstein E3 2009 Beyond Comprehension Trailer [HQ] (Rate This Game)

theres alot of sequels coming out like Assassin's Creed 2, Crysis 2, Dead Rising 2, Just Cause 2 (which looks pretty good), L4D2 (meh...), Lost Planet 2, Mass Effect 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, No More Heroes 2, Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising, etc.

theres another game ive looks at was section 8, looks like a pretty good sci-fi sorta like halo but much different.

Oh yeah forgot about the new wolfenstein game. It looks like they took doom3 and COD World at war and squished them together.

Think I might get GhostBusters for the PC, This review makes me REaLLY want it and I loved the movies. Anyone else interested in some GhostBusting CoOp online?

Read this review, trust me: http://kotaku.com/5294713/ghostbusters-the-video-game-review-survival-comedy
Exerpt:
"...Loved: Multiplayer: This made me love the game all over again. It's deep and fun enough to keep you involved with Ghostbusters for well more than, say any rental period. You get instant action or cooperative campaigns - action being one "job" and campaigns being a series of them. Job types range from survival (destroy ghosts) to containment (trap them) to protection (protect a series of positions) and "thief" (a reverse-capture-the-flag, ghosts against you.) The ranking, achievements, and "most wanted" ghosts you encounter provide plenty of incentive to hang in there and pile up your score. The weapon enhancements you accumulate lend a semi-MMO quality to your online career. But mostly, it's just nonstop ghostbusting action, which is probably what made you reach for the game in the first place. I promised my review copy to a friend, and after finishing my first campaign, mailed it to him and raced back out to buy myself a copy so we could play together. That's how good the multiplayer is: It's $60 impulse-buy good, for someone who had the game for free..."
