Ok I was wondering about how much time I've spent on wow and while I believe there is an in game counter it only shows you time played on that character.
So I found an addon called AllPlayed.
You log onto each of your characters once and it loads the info into the addon. It will show you the time played on each of your characters on the server or all the realms if you wish. It will also show each characters XP, how far into a level they are and total gold for each character.;)
When you log on or off in the chat window it will show you total time played on your current character and time played in your current level.
Here is what it looks like:

So by this I can figure that even with all my screwing around on my Hunter it took me 22 1/2 days or 541 hours to reach level 80.
Total time I've played since I got the game on December 12-28-08 is 27 days 14 hours and 40 min or 663 hours..
Thats an average of 4.875 hrs per day playtime. Are you more addicted than me? Show me the proof! :p
