Apparently, the military news group Stars and Stripes launched an online community for gamers in military and their friends and family, Stripes Gamer (http://www.stripesgamer.com/Portal/Home.aspx).
"As the only gaming site dedicated to serving the U.S. military community, Stripes GAMER creates a vital link between the millions of geographically dispersed gamers in the military and their civilian counterparts by providing an online destination where they are free to congregate, socialize, and challenge one another — all in that special spirit of brotherhood and camaraderie that infuses this unique community."
I just thought this was relevant, with the members who are or were in the military. My brother is in the army, and this sounds right up his alley.
The site seems to still be young, so there are not very many games featured. If it grows to include WoW, I'll probably run into even more marines bragging about how they can kill me with one finger... That's always good for a laugh.
