Increasing amount of cheaters?

I'm not witnessing it on our servers but when I play CoD4 ours is usually empty so I go elsewhere. I felt like bitching about it so here goes...

I must have went through 6 servers last night/this morning leaving each after about 30-60 minutes when a hacker hopped on and there was no one around to kick them.

I started getting back into CoD4 a few days ago and don't remember having this much trouble finding a clean place to play.

A lot of the other servers have lost some control as admins move to playing WaW. I guess it's the luck of the draw some times.

Our server has it's specific time period where it draws in people and is packed every night but the very early morning hrs are pretty empty probably because it's an east coast server.

Nightmare is right with there being lots of crappy players. I banned two from our server last night. As to hackers, are you seeing a specific type more often on the other servers? Wallhacks or aimbots?

Hippers are homo.... They should have a thing where you only can hop once every 5 or 6 seconds :P

I didn't keep count but it seemed like more wallhackers than aimbot. I'm guessing the aimbot is easier to spot and wallhacking has more advantages.

This one guy even had the balls to brag he made 44 headshots with his 72-17 record using an M40A3. When I spectated him the next round and announced he was cheating he of course denied it and no one seemed to care enough to do anything.

OF course the top servers on the ones with around 40-50 people on them. These guys can hop in get some insane amount of kills or headshots, piss everyone off then leave and feel great about themselves. The hackers never use to be that big of a problem until the cheat software started coming with a program that continually try's to log into the RCON controls thereby flooding it with attempts so no admins can access it to kick the hacker...

That's been a real pain and I've had to shut the server off a couple of times to manually ban the person. Of course some times their using cracked GUID keycodes so they come right back but after you ban their IP string and a few GUID's they usually try non admin protected servers.. unfortualtly those are the ones you visted.

I like it when hackers get in and think they're all great because they're killing everyone. Then when someone says he's a noob and probably sucks which is why he has hacks, the hacker always says he's so great and doing this for fun and doesn't want to turn them off. Usually, the person really does suck, felt they just wasted the 50 dollars on the game and atleast wants to feel like he still accomplished something in the game. Sad. =(

Lol you're right I never really thought about it but they always do say how they are so awesome without the hacks that they get bored and that's why they use them..

plus like half of the hacks that are out there are viruses! so the people who want to hack, are taking a risk for their computer crashing, lol.

I didn't know that. That is funny. Take that hackers!!! I bet the hacks were made by people who kept getting killed by other people using other hacks. Made these new hacks, put viruses in them, and was like "Now who just got headshot bitch!!!!"

Lol I'm sure there are lots of young kids out there playing dumb or making excuses because they put a virus on the family computer for thinking it would be fun to search hacks for games on Google.

there are lost of reasons I stoped playing COD4 most of its my 360 lol but cheaters do play apart. Besides its only fun when the clan plays together. :)
