I just found a good article about why 64bit processors are the way to go in the future.

It pretty much sums it up in the first paragraph. 32 bit can handle about 4 GB of RAM memory. 64 bit can handle 16.8 billion terabytes of RAM (Beat THAT Eraser). So maybe you SHOULD upgrade after all.

I have a 64 bit dual core processor, I use 32-bit WinXp however so I don't really benefit from it.

I'm always hearing people complaining about glitches and problems from their 64-bit applications such as games. Same thing with Vista, which is why I haven't upgraded plus I don't see why I should let my system's resources be hogged unnecessarily.

I'd like to upgrade my Windows but I'm still feeling nervous about it.

I did it and see no dif in performance or anything. just now i got 2 program files folders lol

until EVERY thing goes 64bit there probably won't be that much benefit from it. I have a 64bit processor running 32bit windows. I got a 64bit version only after I had everything running so I never got to mess with it.
