Well lets start this off with me saying i think the game is cool,but it looks like an expansion of cod2 couple of real cool things ive seen so far is ,instead of calling in a chopper you call in Dogs its crazy you can kill the dogs but its hard, you cant run from them i tried cant knife them at least i dont think so it got me killed lol. I was laying there minding my own looking for something to shoot next thing i knew a bomb was dropped right on top of me the best thing was the qore of it all, i seen my legs and arms flying in the air me laying there with half a torso lol. The gunns are ok you start out with a single shot once you level up you get your tommy gun and others come but still its all oldschool weps. calling in an airstrike is the same if been playing the beta version it only comes with 3 or 4 maps, all battle types are the same sep there is a new one called War thats cool but its just a big capture the flag game still fun and thats the place where ive found it the easyest to level up at.. its worth a look if you get a chance ill drop this link hope it works http://www.callofduty.com/login?referer=%2Fprofile%2Fbanner you got to register with the sight but then it will send you an email and a free beta code to download the game give it a try maybe we can play some tonight ..

This isn't call of duty 5. This is just a expansion pack basically to the big red 1. Call of duty 5 hasn't been made/released yet, it'll be modern warfare and by the same folk of COD4

Well, there are graphical and mechanical improvements, so it's not entirely an expansion.
But yeah, it's not quite CoD5, otherwise they would've put the 5 in the title and all that.

really that is seems a little bad and i heard that cod 5 has some bad recoil on the weapons and it seems like it would be iffy to install on computer what u think:confused:

CoD:WaW is still good though, I played through the single player yesterday. It's short but just as good as the other CoD campaigns (if you liked them), plus they somehow convinced Kiefer Sutherland and Gary Oldman to do voice talent on it, bonus.

Haven't tried multiplayer yet.

eh... im a bit iffy about this game. it uses Cod4 engine, its just all different weapons, perks, and maps. (CoD expansion basically). im just going to wait for CoD5 or BF3 instead.

thorugh my research and testing i've come to the comclusion that COD: WaW, is merely a remake of the original COD games, with the COD4 graphics and physics engine, with merely a couple of things thrown in to make it somewhat differant, however despite the gore and cool weapons it does feel linear at times and suffers from technicle issues, my advice, if you have COD4 don't buy COD:WaW unless your really into the more realistic WWII games.

I've recently picked up COD WAW and It's multiplayer doesn't hold a candle to COD4. The maps are to big and take forever to load, and the spawn point system is just... broken. I played the beta and was hoping that this was a beta issue but sadly it's not. Spawning in a pack of enemy troops is never fun. Nor is it fun to have them just spawn behind you. Usually in COD4 this means you have pushed to far into enemy spawn and it's something you have to deal with, in COD WAW this happens completely randomly. You'll just spawn in side the enemy force with none of your troops anywhere to give aid. I've also had the pleasure of spawning on mines and inside poison gas clouds...

As for single player, it was kind of annoying I really hate the Japanese now. The CO-OP mode is fun though, a lot better then single player. I only really got COD WaW for it's co-op.

I Hope COD Modern Warfare Two isn't as much of a let down as WaW

I think it's down to Infinity Ward making better shooter games than Treyarch. Each company was making the games at the same time for Activision but once IW released CoD4 Treyarch must have known they we're in trouble because the game was selling like crazy.

I haven't even bothered buying WaW. It's hard to buy something that feels like you're going backwards once you play Modern Warfare.

Maybe someday I will get WaW for the coop alone, people say it is fun and I an all about Coop with competent mates, but it will have to get pretty cheap (like $20)

I really got it for two reasons. 1) Co-op is fun to do with my room mate and other friends if they ever get the game (I typically stomp on them in Multiplayer so they don't do that much). 2) I have not played much other WW2 shooters other than Medal of Honor so it doesn't feel like I am beating a dead horse, although the single player campaign was annoying and lacked checkpoints... Plus I torture myself and play it on harder difficulties... COD4 I got through on Veteran (all but the prologue) and when playing COD WaW even Hardened was worse then Veteran was in COD4. I'll probably keep venturing into servers when bored to torture myself some more just to unlock some more of the weapons... I can't stand to play it for that long...

I'll still load COD WaW if I feel like getting pissed of about a game or if I am going to do co-op but otherwise this thing is a waste of time for me.

Spawn system is broken, tanks are too tough, HC mode is not, maps are huge, even when I am right next to someone, I feel I am 50 feet away, and the uniforms shades are the EXACT shades of the background much too often.

I bought it for my son for Christmas and received it myself but the more I play, the less I like it, except for co-op and especially except for the zombie-co-op mode - which is indeed fun.

Well the patch/map-pack is finally out for PC, but not for steam users yet... for some reason they feel the need to wait and make it not even possible for use to even play the game anymore... at least until they get their act in gear and get the patch out.
