That's a big problems. Can you list any error codes or file names?
Try disconnecting EVERYTHING that is not necessary for installing Winshit. If there is onboard video, use that and not any add ons.. etc.

Let me ask something tought, does it blue screen when installing drivers BEFORE you select the hard drive to install files to? Does she have a Sata or Pata hard drive in her system?

Is this an update or a fresh install on a clean drive? How are you trying 3 different cds? With XP you can only install one disc on one machine. Please tell me it's not a pirated copy..:shakehead:
I would try using the windows driver first if your sure that is the problem, but I'm not sure if that is it since the drive is working up to the driver install point. Like eraser said you could try your drive or buy a new one their only like $15 new.
Other then that you'll have to try it again and write down the error when it happens this time.

the new one costs around 200 euro. if i had 200 euro for spare i would make them sweeties :P i format the HDD and then install windows on it (completely clean). also she uses SATA.

You can install as many discs you'd like on as many comps you like.. It is the product key you only can use on one comp, isnt it?
Or is it gay in the US? I borrowed a copy of English XP and used my Norwegian product key. Genuine and np.

My suggestion to you, as an owner of a Custom Computer and Repair Company is this.....DBAN THE DRIVE!!! DBAN (Darik's Boot and Nuke). Basically use DBAN to clear her hard drive, windows only formats OVER files, it doesn't actually 100% erase the drive after formatting....so once you DBAN a drive, not a single byte of information is left on that puppy. So go ahead and DBAN the drive, then re-install windows, the drivers won't be there anymore, let me know if that helps!
