looks as if farcry2 is going to have a "Great editer over 1.0000 toys to put in your maps.with that you can make some real cool an true to life maps .ive yet to see if it's static or dim eather way going to be Cool! I'll be one of the guys 1st in line for this one .i loved the 1st singel playeer jest the on line ver was crazy seemed ever SOB had a rocket lancher .got old real fast.but the 2ed looks to be more mplay .i'm looking forward to it sometime in nov.chech you spec on your system looks like i'll be over clocking my system to play

Far Cry 2 is the best "driving African Safari" game ever! There's some shooting here and there that gets in the way of your extensive Truck/Boat driving but I can ignore it.

All jokes aside this game is straight up offensive. I tried it out (Dr. H I know I said I'd make time for CoD!) and within minutes was horrified to see that in this game you hunt down your enemies and mount them to the hood of your vehicles to display as trophies. Appalling.

Lol I heard it was a decent game but that's just wierd ;p. Is the malaria as annoying as they said it is?

Malaria isn't that bad for me. Really though, they tried to set the game up like GTA4 except there's no taxis to shoot you to your destination. And they're not stingy with the miles when they give you your target.

The game has a very 'realism' feel to it with no HUD and departure from the FPS view but it's frustrating to buy an action game and have your fights spaced every 15 minutes.

Fire and explosions are way cool though.

Game was fun alright. Just liked Fable 2 more and finished it last night :)

Far Cry 2 is a amazing game, espically for being released so soon, and only one update, which I haven't gotten yet. I have had only a few bugs I have found, and the graphics and absolutely amazing.

The only thing wrong I found with the game is that..everyone is out to kill you, there is no interaction with much..just shoot that, shoot this, etc. But hey, great fun game.
