Ok, so I am on the SS CCD4 server and a player says a derogatory remark against asians and against homosexuals. Of course I tell him those types of remarks aren't accepted on the server and he should keep them to himself, to which he replies "Its ok, I'm gay." I asked him if he was a gay asian, to which he said no but ev1 on the server at that time (non ss) were saying it was ok to talk about your own race.

Point being, does being a race/sexual preference make it alright to say disparaging remarks about your own race/sexual preference?

My personal opinion, if I am in person ,and making fun of my own race/gender, well those people can see for themselves what I am, but over the net, anyone can say stupid ignorant remarks about a gay black man, stating they are a gay black man, and really they are a hetero white chick.

the point of equality is just that EQUAL and being treated equally. if people want tolerance, then everyone should realize that.

For all intensive purposes I wil refer to a common word as the "N" word, if you dont know what that means then good.

I have 2 very black friends that I have known since elementary school. they r twins , 1 agrees with me on this the other does not. One was saying that HE can say the N word becaus ehe is black but I can not. I said that makes no sense, because if your trying to say it to take back the word so it looses its power then fine, EVERYONE needs to use it or it is an exclusive word again. which then segrigats by race, which defeats the purpose.

Point is if a word is demeaning then no no one should use it, because it COULD hurt someone and we dont want that, it does not matter who is saying it. I personally will love a time when anyone can say anything because everyone learns that words are just that, words and not allowing words to hurt is the best way. But unfortunately, people have had many issues during their lives that may make that too difficult.

So no we dont tolerate it becuae on a public server with many people you dont know seeing it, it is not acceptable.

black people do not call each other "nigger" , the term is "nigga"

and before you ask , there IS a difference.
