Illegal Servers Vote

I made this vote on the behalf of ||§§||Kreznoll, He apparently does not like §uicide §oldiers running "Illegal Servers" like my World Of Warcraft server....

So I sayd, that i start this vote for him... If everyone Votes Yes to Close it down, then i will gladly shut down my server and it will not be availible to §§ anymore....

But if the vote is No, Then my server will remain open to all §§ and further more, i dont want my wow players to be recruited to the official servers by him or his mates....

I would appreciate all §§ members to vote on this even if they play it, dont play it, or even ever heard of the game....

well you do realise that within the division of wow eu we have an official blizzard employee who will seriously frown upon this he is someone that has very good standing within this clan. and if he reports this the server will be shut down and you realise you leave yourself open to prosecution as well as this clan :/

So basicly you don't want §§ players to play the official game? But rather support in an Illegal activity.

And as Mundo stated, we do have a Blizzard employee in the Clan.


And btw. I don't like that you state that you made this Poll for me. since i never asked for it to be made, you made this post to prove yourself and your point.

Blizzard are greedy morons to say this is illegal. It doesn't even damage Blizzard.... For this and the possibility to play on the same server as ya'll, I voted it to stay up. :)

i dont see why a non ss members vote should count on something that affects this clan and it's reputation if gabriel wants to hold this server up outwith the clan i have no quarel with that just i dont want this clan dragged down with something i regard as being wrong

I'm with Mundo on this one, I have no issues with you running a private server. However I do have an issue with you promoting your illegal server on these forums. Ever since I joined ||§§|| back in the OFP days (yes I'm flaunting my veteran status here) this clan has always frowned upon hackers and cheaters, and with this in mind I would put this sort of activity within that category. The §§ WoW EU division has been active for a long time now and I don't want to see our clan's or division's reputation tainted with this sort of behaviour.

Please also keep in mind that non §§ members should not be allowed to vote on these things, as you said you have several non §§ supporters and they are likely to be biased regarding this vote.

If we decide that this illegal activity should be allowed to continue, then it pains me to say ths, but my long career with §§ will be coming to an end.


I'd like to apologise to the yanks here personally for this, especially WhiteReign, if it comes across as an ultimatum or if it offends.

This legality information was unknown by most of the §§ HC. Until the details are worked out by the HC all threads associated with the private WoW are now locked.

As of now, we have found that private servers are unfortunately "Illegale" by the rules that Blizzard has setforth with WoW, and so that no one gets into any trouble we will no longer be supporting anyone that make a private server. Now we do not have any control over any members actions on where they decide to play the game, So we just want to warn all members that if you do play on a private server, that Blizzard may take actions, including freezing and deleting accounts, let alone any other legal actons they may take down the line with copyright infringment.


Bottom line is that the SS can never support any illegal activity including anytype of copyright infringment
