Rofl you really want those points don't you :p.I try never to buy used games or reserve them from gamestop since the games never go out of stock at most stores anyway. Even if my local gamestop didn't order enough there is a Walmart right next door and a Bestbuy and Target 15 more min away ;). I do agree with reserving games when they give you a bonus to do so like those cards with codes for extra goodies you can only get from reserving.. assuming you pick it up the very day it comes out.
Now is it store policy to not sell sealed games or can you guys go back and get me one not store opened? It's starting to get annoying.
The guys at my local gamestop are pretty cool assuming they aren't being forced to try and sell me reserves, magazines or that card... They must not remember who I am since I figure if I say no once it should mean no every time. When I'm checking out and they ask me if I've reserved my copy yet of so and so sports game coming out, I want to strangle them since I never play sports games and if I want to reserve a game I would ask rather then them asking me about some random game on the chance I'm dumb enough to bite lol.
Now get back to work and try to please those nerdy kids who want to talk to you about games all day :giggle:.

All I have to say is "Yay another WWII game!" *note the sarcasm* Pretty soon there won't be much of that dead horse left to beat. Anyway, it's biggest sell point, for me anyway, will probably be the co-op single player mode. We need to see more games like that (army of two was a good one). Of course it will also be at the leading front of technology so it will have a leg up over all the other WWII games out there. Of course I myself have not even played through all of COD1 but not for a lack of trying. I got to a bridge and then Nazi's spawned forever and never gave me the next objective... dang Nazis.

I am all about coop now, Army of 2 was good, Mercs 2 is fun in coop and we are all obviously getting Left 4 Dead even if it says my Proc wont work :P
RE5, Little Big Planet, and Resistence 2 look like they will also do the coop scene well,
as far as WaW, its the Pacific Theater so at least it will be a different setting with a few different weapons and tactics, granted not a huge jump, but hopefully enough to keep it from just repeating CoD3.

Bethesda's Todd Howard commented on this once on G4. He said that WWII is like zombies. It's a theme that is never going to grow old. Years from now, a WWII game is going to be made and it will be the coolest thing ever.
Here's the video. (http://www.g4tv.com/xplay/features/29198/Todd_Time_Reinvention.html)
But it is fairly fresh, because you get to fight the Japanese. It's so rare since the Japanese pretty much ARE the video game industry.
But I understand what you're saying. Personally, I think it's about time we had a Civil War Call of Duty, or an American Revolution Call of Duty. We've never been able to fight in those, I don't think. Or maybe even a WWIII title.

WWII is our "Best" war( if there is such a thing) with super crazy bad odds, large arena, heros and warm/fuzzy feelings about post war happy America. It makes sense to be the most popular topic for games and movies.
Though I think Korea or Vietnam would be better than Civil War or Revolutionary due to the weapons and tactics.. lining up to shoot each other with damn inaccurate smooth bore muzzle loaders.. get a few of shots out a min and the only other weapon is cannons. Man a game like that would drag, probably better suited for strategy games.

Hmm... True. I didn't think about that. But I still think it could work if it was designed right. I've just always thought it was a fun idea.
I'm not sure if the government would be to big on the idea of a Vietnam war game, since we kinda, you know, didn't exactly win that one...
