Alien Swarm comes to Steam for free!

I never really heard of Alien Swarm before but I saw a couple articles on it and it looks like it originally made by some mod guys for Unreal Tournament 2004 then Valve hired these guys to work on L4D and Portal2 but they somehow found time to remake their original mod into a Source engine run game.

So what's important about that? Well it looks a lot better and it's a 4 person co-op shooter that Valve decided to release for FREE when they could have easily made a few bucks off it. Looks like they still care about the mod community over at Valve. They are also releasing all the game code for the mod guys out there to play with.

Anyway on with the video. The games comes out on Monday if anyone decided to give it a shot.

DLed it around 11pm EST fun game you just need communication. build up classes (soldier heavy medic tech) and just work together. good game especially for free

Finally got the pre-installer files, and managed to download the game, I'm used to having trouble downloading new hot games but this was the first time I couldn't even get the pre-installer... And great another thing I need to level up classes for...
