WoW Dungeon Night!

We have a few 80's these days in the Clan on Garona so let's see if we can all get together on a certain night to play a few dungeons. If you have a character that isn't 80 but in the 70's that is cool too, we can do a non-heroic with you!

If you let your account lapse now is a great time to hop back into the game.
I have a level 80 Hunter but I'm mainly using my level 80 Priest these days so healing isn't an issue. I know Masa is hitting big DPS with his Warlock and I'm sure Scorp can spec his Pally to Tank?

It's kind of a win-lose situation in that you do get to see the new content before everyone else, but it kinda spoils all the fun of getting a new expansion.

None of this changes the fact that I still haven't seen all of the Wrath content yet :dry:

I just signed up for the beta too. What's neat is that it signs you up for Diablo and Starcraft too. I unchecked Starcraft though since I'm not interested in that game.

Hey guys, I was thinking about reactivating my account/accounts. Unfortunately I work nights during the weekdays. Anyone play during the day? What about Friday and Saturday nights? just trying to see who all would be on when I am able to game.

Durring the day I know Masa is on for a while since it's night time for him but other than that I think Scorp only really gets on for a little bit before work. Most of us play late at night and on the weekends. Kit will be on vaca soon so I'm sure she will be on during the day when she isn't busy.

Did you end up selling you characters? I couldn't find them on the Armory at all. I thought if you let you account lapse your characters were still there waiting for you?

Well tonight Masa, Eraser and me hit the Blackrock dungeons and they got a few achievements and we all got our Jenkins titles lol!!

Very cool! I'm not sure if it would be an upgrade for my healer or not but it is bad ass looking!

I decided to try out the dungeon, really easy since you only have to fight the boss. All I got from the satchel was the two emblems of frost but I did get Formula: Enchant Weapon - Deathfrost - 3% Drop on the first try :P. Not that useful of an enchant for higher levels (occasional frost damage and slows sub level 73 targets) but it looks cool and bright with snowflakes dropping from your weapon.

Yeah, the specs on the scythe won't beat your Gargoyle Femur, but it was a vast improvement over the sword I was using up til now, and it looks great to boot lol.

Congrats on the enchant - I still haven't gotten that one yet. I did get the pet on the third try.

The coolest thing about the event is it takes 3 to 5 minutes with a decent group and you always get two Frost Emblems in your satchel for the first run of each day.

Lol when it comes to dungeons we're pretty much all new to things. I still haven't gotten up the guts to try out a Raid yet and I have over a 5k GS :sweat:.

Yeah my Gearscore is also over 5100 so far. I have been doing raids with the Band of Blood guild the past few friday nights in ICC. Any ideas on how to kill Festergut in ICC 25 man raid? Hes the 4th or 5th boss I think. We get him down to 8% health and he releases a toxic gas that kills all 25 of us no matter what our health is. I think it may be we have to take him down faster. The raid leader mentioned that everyone has to knock out almost 7k dps to take him out quick. Our tanks were doing over 9k and the main was doing 10k. My ret pally does around 5k dps. We wiped and went to Svalna instead but until next friday night at 9.

Thanks for that..Now I know by watching it what has wiped our raid over and over. It was the Gastric bloat that he hit us with 50,000 nature damage and wiped everyone.

I agree that we need to find a raiding guild that will let us tag along with them. Hopefully there are some nice guys out there that don't mind if I've never done a raid before.

Well I just healed my first 10-man. I did the weekly Plaque Bringer Must Die since I was standing in Dal and some guys asked if I wanted to join them. It was pretty short and easy. I was healing with a Druid only to have him tell me at the end that I pretty much healed the whole thing and other than tossing some heals on the tank now and then he decided to do dps. LOL I looked at recount and he was right, I pretty much solo healed it.

I'm thinking that the weekly is very easy compared to much of the stuff out there?

Urgh just did a random heroic with Masa and two kids from the same guild started talking smack from the get go.. I'm glad it's not often that you have to deal with a couple of kids that make fun of everyone to get their little online excitement. Having to hear words like "Noob", "Fail" and talking about how they are masturbating and watching porn while playing..

Anyone who makes a wow macro just to make fun of people you know chances are they are just some punk kid who would cry before talking like that to people in real life lol.

I dont have my headset turned on in game. specifically for that and the tons of other crazy shit that flies out of people's mouths. I must admit though, you will hear equally crazy chatter on CB/Ham radio chatter. Hard trying to measure which is worse, young punks, or old intolerent fucks.

Unless in a raid group I never join ventrilo with people I don't know, those kids we're actually taking the time to type this stuff in the ingame chatbox lol.

On with game night! Ok tonight we are going to get together and try and run as many heroics in a team as we can.

I think we can get 5 of us together if Scorp plans on showing up?
