Friends from work and I are sponsoiring a server at:

We've limited the server level to 30 and below currently and can tweak it on the fly as required so we don't get raped by higher level players.

In BC2 there is no prestige mode so advancement is slow and someone 20+ levels above you can kill you easily due to unlocks.

I'm good with nearly any night for a BC2 game night

Isn't that what the "Tags" feature in the game is for? You put your regular name and then put your tags in the tag section. When you're in the game your clans tags are put in brackets like this [||SS||] Dr H
You guys put your tags into your actual names instead. The only downside I see to the tag system is that it puts everyone's tags into brackets to designate them as tags but I can also see this as a positive thing so you know it's not just a long name.

Well that and I had that EA account even before I was SS that long ago LOL so I am glad it has the tag section.

Finally loaded up BFBC2 MP by guessing my room mates password to his account. Made my own profile there so my name is "Sven The Slayer"

I still have to boot into my back up operating system which still isn't fully up to code yet. I never installed the webcam so Vent is useless to me at the moment.

yeah I gave up on it, the hassle of using a clean OS where xfire and vent are not even running yet... and when it comes down to it, I just do not like the game.

While I like the game ok, it has a lot of balance issues. I think the current shooters out right now are decent at their core but the developers have screwed them up some much for the PC that I really don't enjoy playing any of the shooters right now like I did a year or two ago..

I blame Microsoft, if they didn't force their way into the console market by offering the middle ground to the low powered but gimmick oriented Nintendo products and black power beasts of Sony PC gaming would still be what it was several years ago. As soon as they put out the XBOX they starting buying up contracts and putting out FPS games. Such as halo, and turned FPS into a fanboy thing instead of just hardcore gamers.

Not to much BC2 lately though a few of us are willing to play, we have been playing a lot more MW2 though.
