Plans for CoD4 server.

Well it seems that many of us have moved into playing MW2 and the CoD4 server has been a bit empty these past couple months.

I'm wondering what everyone's thoughts are on our CoD4 server.
Should we keep it up or drop it mainly?

A few things to consider are that if we want control and a larger amount of clan members to get together we won't get that in MW2. Also does MW2 have the staying power of CoD4 since MW2 is so much more console style?

The main decision lays in the hands of those willing to pay for it and of right now the only two people who have continued to help pay are Sven and Pugilist. They cover $22 while I've been covering the rest $24 so we are going to have to make a decision shortly or I will drop the server.

I've looked around and prices have not gone down since MW2 yet and in fact we are getting our server over $10 cheaper than it would cost to get the same server right now.

That's a hard decision MW1 still has a lot of things over MW2 and vice versa.

I say that since members are suppsed to visit the clan and have a say let any memebrs tat are against it speak up now. That way when it closes and all these Pseudo-Members will hop on and bitch and say they didn't know it was going to happen.

I just wish that MW2 had dedicated servers... then this wouldn't even be an issue.

The monthly payment deadline is the 20th so let's say we have until the 15th or so to decide. If the clan wants to keep this server that's one thing but if no one else than the three of us paying want to help keep it then it doesn't really matter does it..

only paying people should have a say. I do not pay and i think we should drop it to save the paying people money, but it is their money so let them have a say.

Well the way it looks, this will be the last week of the ||SS|| Cod4 server.

rgr might want to change the Server messages to reflect it for any regulars to the server. I know we have a few that really like our server.

You mean have the ingame console message it so people have a bit of a warning?
