I plan on getting it in the future, it looks fun and seems to have a lot more to it than new characters and weapons. Not sure when I can get it but who else is gettig it?

It's on my list ;). If I'm going to get a game anytime soon it's between L4D2 - MW2 - Dragon Age Origins - Ninja Gaiden Sigma2.

I doubt they would make you buy the first on just to be able to play the second one. I'm sure they have some package deal though.

no they are separate games it is not an expansion pack.

Sigma will g\be good for the PS3

If it were an in-expensive expansion I might not get it. I'm not paying full price for bizzaro L4D when I don't even play the original. I downloaded the demo to give it a shot and wasn't impressed. It was the same old thing with some new faces and a few more toys. The between character chatter I liked about the first one seemed dull and just off this time.

I've heard it both ways. I have a handful of friends begging me to get it already cuz they think it's so much better then the first.

I don't deny it's better then the first. The first was a pay beta. We give them money to beta test their game for them. I should have skipped the first one and gotten this one and maybe I wouldn't be turned off by the entire series.

yeah L4D2 might be on my list, along with MW2. of L4D2 course its better then the first game, but as what sven said, its still on the same engine ("polished" textures looked nice tho) but added bunch of toys and gadgets (melee), characters, and special infected. a lot of that stuff should of been in the first game.

It does kinda feel like it should have been a cheaper expansion rather than a whole new game.. but who knows, maybe because most expansions are continuations where this has new characters or maybe it can just sell for more if it's not call and expansion.

Well there are new infected and the weather can change which both make the more serious tactical players have to redo their plans on the fly which is interesting, I really think that if they upgraded the graphics engine and waited another year first, they would not have gotten half of the complaints about it being an expansion.
