looks good, but the no dedicated servers thing pisses me off. but i said i'd get this since steam stole my cod4

i would get it but not right now. due to the fact my pc sucks and wont run it right. so i am going to have to get a new one. Also i don't have the money to get it or upgrade my computer. so in other words i need to find a job.

(Note: Sadly me finding a job in Florida hasn't worked out so good. so i dont see me getting one anytime soon.)

Yes, because it's going to be better than MW1 obviously, with or without dedicated servers.

I'm at least going to try it, I still want to play single player and spec ops. I doubt multiplayer will be as big as it STILL is in COD4 but I still want to give it a try. Also The more people who buy the game and complain about no dedi servers the more likely we will get them in the future

I am personally looking forward to the Spec Ops part, hopefully that will have some replayability. but i would be much happier if they let us use dedicated servers, I know you can get L4D servers and since this is going to be ALL steam integrated, it should allow for the same. Either way, I still suggest mentioning on our server now for people to join our Steam community if they want to join us in MW2.

I'll still be getting it when I have the spare cash to justify the purchase. I'd get it even if it didn't have multiplayer because I still enjoy the single player modes.

Just make sure it's working ok and not having any RROD type problems ;). I hear the percentage of returns on the newest models are much better. I'm still crossing my fingers that I never have a problem with mine, but I don't put in nearly enough hrs into it for any overheating issues.

Sorry but the game was bad ass when it was made right and not by the Creators of 1, 2, and 3. Four was the best and I will bet 5 will be just as good!!

I've been checking out gameplay footage and I'm not sure I like how how arcadey the pace seems to be. I know COD4 was never big on realism but the new footage I saw just looked kind of goofy. Way too much knifing on singleplayer.

Enemies running to rifle butt you at every corner? I'll give it to you during WWII CoD but what sense does it make to melee someone instead of shoot them (in single player that is).

Spec ops mode looks cool though.

I'll probably end up getting it out of principle if I have the money and an upgraded system by then.

You guys think it'll be alright on a geforce 9800 GT and 4 GB of RAM? I'm thinking of getting a quad processor too.

It should run fine on that GPU you might just need to adjust the setting a tad.

It better because I have an 8800GT, single core and 2GB of RAM and I am not upgrading until I can get a new MoBo and Proc which wont be for a LONG while.

I wanted to revive this thread a bit and state, I will NOT be getting this game, and won't get it till I see an IW that respects and wants their PC gamers around, it's obvious they don't want us, and I don't want them.

Also, I won't be getting L4D2, doesn't look fun or really anything that awesomely new.

not getting mw2, i guess i gotta pick up cod4 now though. im definitely getting l4d2 since its what l4d1 should have been. also cuz my grandma will be getting it for me for xmas anyway :D

yea, I do not see myself getting it due to the new changes they announced making it a crappy 360 port.
