So this is considering the heli-stacking glitch.
Should this be outlawed? It is just a way to make a bad game worse for the loosing team. I myself am just as guilty as anybody using it so it should mean something saying it should be outlawed. To many times have people taken advantage of this and it is most apparent on the open maps such as bog and countdown.
Not exactly easy to enforce all the time but sometimes it's blatantly obvious. Should help balance the game when one side is getting hit really hard.

Heli stacking is when you get 7 kills, die, and call in the helicopter next round to use it to gain you another air-strike and helicopter

That doesn't sound like a glitch. It might suck, but it's just using game resources wisely.

Hmm I'm not sure if glitch is the right word or not. If you think that you should be able to only use airstrikes and heli's from a life during that life and once you die you should loose anything you have then it's a glitch but if you feel that since you earned the heli you should be able to use it then using it at a new life to help you boost your kill count faster then it makes sense. Of course if you live long then it doesn't make as much sense not to use it right off unless you tend to die right after or around 5-7 kills.

How many times have you asked me in vent "You have another helicopter?"
The helicopter in COD4 is kind of glitchy, I'm sure some of you have seen the unlimited UAVs they will sometimes give you, and it even happens with air strikes, shooting through walls because it sees a toe sticking out. If you call your helicopter in and die, the kills don't count for anything... In W@W if you wait to call in your dogs you do not get any benefit from waiting, so treyarch actually recognized this as a glitch and removed it from the next game. The problem is, it's a conscious effort on the player to gain even more of an advantage over the other team. If the team is already loosing it just makes the game completely unbalanced and just adds insult to injury.
We've all gotten stuck in that hangar on countdown and were constantly hit by air-strikes and helicopters. That is mostly due to heli-stacking.

which is why in MW2 it is not a heli but a Predator missle strike.
and 5 is not an airstrike but a "supply drop" whatever the hell that is.

There are like 12 new streaks so we don't even know what they are all, and 4 is a drop and 5 is the missile.

The heli-stacking is a game component, no argument, but so is hopping and it was decided that hopping and diving, even though supported by the game, were too annoying. since I hate bunny hopping and dolphin diving, I am all for it and since I seem to be a favorite of the heli, at times getting hunted down and shot through the 1" crack in the wall, I hate getting stuck on a large, open map trying to hide from them.
Yes it's tough to enforce and perhaps rather than an outright ban we might just remind a team that is dominating that we have the equivalent of the 12 run rule - if you have double the score of the opposing team, no intentional heli-stacking as a courtesy.

Yeah, and it was annoying as hell, especially when suddenly the gameplay in Crossfire switched from us kicking ass to not being able to spawn without dying.
