You know how much I like me some CoOp action, there are insane amounts of guns, and RPG elements for the WoW guys, so it looks interesting enough.

Share your opinions plz

I've been turned off on 4 player co-op by left4dead, it just killed it for me, plus I get bored with RPGs way to fast.

Not good enough to keep my occupied for online play.

Offline play/co-op is cool, but nothing comparable to MW2

I'm downloading this game right now. I looks great and has online play. And on top of that, it has hundreds of thousands of guns. (Or thats what the official web site says)

The graphics are ok. I think I have mixed feelings on it through as the crossover rpg/fps it's suppose to be. A fps is based a lot on skill of the players and their ability to react fast and aim. An rpg while fun is more of a mix on time and effort. Yes skill matters in an rpg but it is more based on strategy and process to get the most dps or healing etc.

Any kid who has the time to sit in front of the computer for hours on end that is part of a big guild will have all the best gear and weapons. But that same kid may get completely destroyed in a fast shooter game.

So I feel each genre has its own place I think I will have to see how this one fits before buying it.

There are a lot of games trying to do this cross over. But they usually leave the FPS in the dusts of RPG elements. Sure you shoot and aim like an FPS but your stats deal damage not your skill with the gun. Saw an tps/rpg over the weekend at gameX

When I imagine an FPS/RPG I imagine that guns are guns and bullets are bullets. What the RPG elements should do is determine things like proficiency. How well you can hold your aim down sights, how much drift your gun suffers from, reloading speed, recoil control and stuff like that. Things that REAL people who shoot REAL guns have to learn to control.

$18 pre-order - must get through steam - Multi-player only and it requires DX10, whcih means Windows 7 or Vista.

I may do an upgrade and see what happens just to play this game.

I just bought Borderlands last night and have played a few minuted of it. It seems to be a good FPS thrown into a WoW like wastelend. Not the fantasy aspect, but everything is a quest and you have XP and level up. You also can search for ammo and money which you apply to getting more weapons at ammo crates. weapons are very different and you choose from 4 specific people at the begining. I have played singleplayer a little as the "Hunter" which apparently is a sniper with a sword. Soo far it seems pretty fun and I am looking forward to hoping into some multiplayer CoOp later on.

If anyone else has this game let me know. Ill add another update when I play some multiplayer. apparently there are dungeons as well.

Here is the first DLC for the game

Stolen pixels had a strip on it and they had nothing but bad things to say about it, I wasn't all thrilled about it in the first place so, skip for me.

Also these FPS+RPG games are not really going to be my type. I'm not a big RPG fan to begin with and they usually lean more towards RPG then FPS. One thing I don't like is how stats effect damage. I think weapons should = damage. Not how many stat points I toss into myself. The MMORPGFPS that is coming out also says to be doing this. I can understand stats going into proficiency and things like recoil and accuracy. The more you shoot a gun the better you get but the base damage shouldn't really be effected.

well the higher your XP the stronger the guns you get, but I do know what you mean.
