So tonight it there were 3 SS (Me Postal and DarkSlice) and 3 net monkeys on. So I figured Kill-house would be a good map. I was wrong. The one guy sat on the middle building "KingDiamond" and would pick everybody off with his M16 as one other guy assaulted us. I don't have a good mid range class so I had nothing that could deal with both threats. Without being able to sit back and pick at them and being camped whenever I charged I turned on nade spam and finished out the map with quite the defeat. One of the players complained about our use of m203s, calling them "noob". And I just replied with "oh that's why king started using one"

The map changes to overgrown, and then kingdiamond manages to take a commanding first lead with 20 kills 1 death. I got picked off from the side or rear anytime I tried to make a move. We fought hard, and with a lot of work and a little help, managed to break the strangle hold on our position and managed to not only take the lead but gave a lot of punishment to kingdiamond. Anyway, the next map, pipeline, he didn't have such luxuries as to put my team in a stranglehold. He got stomped from the minute my feet hit the ground, I even killed him with his own gun a few times. After a while he rage quits and left us with these parting words

Stomping on people usually makes them angry and leave, but players who are not used to loosing will be total jerks about it.

Well it looks like this will be a thing of the past with MW2, we will only play with players who are as good as us.... :eek: okay that's BS and we all know it.

Agreed because it all depends on the class I use as to where my score and KDR is.

If I am stalking, I use uav blocking and bomb squad and dead silence and silenced weapons and score completely differently than if I am trying to snipe but hell, sometimes I want to try and snipe and the new system will force me to play a single class or sandbag until I can be matched to players I can learn new classes against without being totally dominated.

Right now if I determine I am not having fun on a server I can leave and try another, that will not work in MW2.

I will probably get it at one point but the game I am really looking forward to taking for a test spin is Shattered Horizons:

Because it looks like an FPS combined with a flight sim, rather like Descent as Postal pointed out to me, and an FPS with complete movement freedom will be interesting.
